Graduating in 1973 with a degree in Building Construction from Texas A&M University, Bill got his start in commercial real estate in 1978 working at Schneider Moore Properties in Houston, TX as a leasing agent for a large portfolio of retail shopping centers. After working there for several years, he transitioned to Fuller Commercial Brokerage where he specialized in retail sales and leasing. While at Fuller he worked with companies such as Exxon Mobil, Discount Tire Company, McDonalds, Burger King, and Le Peep Restaurants in many land acquisition and lease transactions. Recognizing The Woodlands as an area poised for economic growth, he joined The Woodlands Corporation in 1988. While at The Woodlands Corporation, Bill worked with dozens of companies, including Chevron, Dresser Industries, and Haliburton to negotiate their office leases, and he also worked on the development of several office buildings around The Woodlands such as Parkwood II on Grogan’s Mill Road and Venture Tech 5 on New Trails.
After seven years of service to The Woodlands Corporation, he formed Cole Commercial Realty in 1995. Since then, he has been instrumental in helping hundreds of local businesses negotiate and close real estate transactions and has built a reputation as a cornerstone in this real estate market. His clients include The Conroe Independent School District, Vintage Sports cards, First National Bank, Dresser Industries, Cornerstone Mortgage, Saxon Drilling, The Goose’s Acre Restaurant, Oxbow Corporation, State Representative Rob Eissler, Texas Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, and Life Chek Drug.
